9/365 – Honoring – SSGT TJ Dudley – Memorial

Staff Sergeant Thomas Joseph Dodds Dudley died July 7, 2011 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province. Dudley was assigned to Marine Air Group 26, 2nd Marine Air Wing, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Station New River in, Jacksonville, N.C.  He was also a volunteer firefighter with Haws Run Station in Jacksonville, NC.  He left behind his wife Mary and his 3 kids, Taylor (age 14), Carter (age 5), and Jenna (age 2).  TJ was the true picture of a hero, willing to do anything for anyone and made the ultimate sacrifice for his country.
