12/365 – Honoring – Ken Havens

Today we honor Ken Haven’s he was friends with our previous honoree Robert Kolling. They served together in Vietnam. Below is part one of a two part series of 8mm film shot by Ken Havens in Vietnam during his service there. Ken died at Fire Base Jamie in Tay Ninh, Vietnam, on Oct. 21, 1969, two days after his 23rd birthday. The Haven’s maintain a family website that includes photos, video and more information about Ken.     Sorry the video did not appear at first, but I have fixed the problem and it should work now.
